On Friday, March 9, 2012, a group of high school juniors and seniors came to Globe
University ? Green Bay for a Legal Sciences College Preview Day.? The morning opened with a panel discussion from professionals in the Paralegal and Criminal Justice fields.? Program Chairs Melissa Matuszak (Criminal Justice) and Laura Nelson (Paralegal) coordinated the day for the students to get their hands on in the legal sciences fields.? The students heard from a variety of professionals working in the law enforcement, corrections, and law office settings.
After the panel of professionals concluded, students broke out into breakout sessions
where they learned about the Green Bay Police Department?s K9 unit and the
world of legal terminology and criminal law.? Students were engaged and left Globe University with more knowledge on the Legal Sciences career fields than ever before!? The day was a huge success for Globe University, as it?s always beneficial when a group of 20 high school students can come directly on campus.?
High School Admissions Representative, Lisa Kingston and Director of Admissions,
Beth Francour stated they plan to host other College Preview Days in the near
future in conjunction with High School Coordinator, Sara Zelewske.
