New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer indicated that the team is expected to use FB John Conner as more of a pass catcher next season. The team may also use Conner in one-running back formations.
Huddle Up: Conner is more of a blocker than a ball-carrier, and any touches he gets--especially in the passing game--would take a bite out of LaDainian Tomlinson's expected workload. Conner may see a handful more touches, but not enough to make him a fantasy factor; whether it's enough to tweak LT's fantasy value remains to be seen.
